Cookin’ with Congress started as my exploration of the favorite foods and homespun recipes of America's most trusted, beloved, and dignified group of people: politicians. The show expanded to eating like presidents, governors, first ladies and even you wonderful people. Now, the video series garners 20 million views a month and has been featured on NPR, CBS Sunday Morning, Eater, The Los Angeles Times and more, blending history, satire, fun, education, joyous disgust and a true love for everyday folks while roasting (sometimes literally) the foods of powerful politicians. When I was six years old, I wanted to be the President of the United States and a chef at the same time. This is close enough.
