Dunya Dance with Hannah

Hannah Romanowsky, M.A. is Artistic Director of Dunya Dance — master teacher, choreographer, and dance artist in the SF Bay Area with decades of experience performing and teaching.

Her body of work spans Persian, Central Asian, Turkish, Romani, North African, and Spanish dance traditions, alongside jazz, fusion, and original dance theatre suites including Scheherazade’s Story, Dance of the Warrior Queens, and Dance of the Sirens.

With a joyful, feminine, and culturally informed approach, Hannah empowers dancers to embody their inner radiance, unlocking confidence, presence, and soulful artistry through tradition, innovation, and ensemble work. Dunya means "world", and the name is inspired by the literary character Dunyazade from 1001 Nights.

Hannah offers classes and private coaching in San Rafael and Point Richmond CA and the Ensemble performs at Hidden City Ballroom in Point Richmond.
