THE GIVEN NOTE explores Irish Traditional Music through an open, interpretive lens. Through Nathan Bishop’s expressive fiddle and Norwegian hardanger fiddle, and Rob Curto’s distinctive piano, button accordion and analog synthesizer, the project explores the space between melody and texture, balancing tradition with experimentation.
