Perinton Historical Society

The Perinton Historical Society began as a research organization founded by ten women in 1935 and was incorporated in 1950.

For over 85 years, documents, images, and artifacts pertinent to the history of Perinton and Fairport have been collected and preserved. Many items in the collections date back to the mid-nineteenth century.

Our mission is to promote interest in preserving and sharing local history. Our vision is to be the leading, widely recognized community resource for promoting and instilling a sense of local history.
