Riding for as long as I can and video documenting the experience along the way. I ride a Kawasaki Ninja 650r.
Age: 26
I still consider myself a fairly new to riding. I started two years ago and have logged about 30,000 miles so far. After that many miles I've found that I still have a lot to learn. I'm a software engineer, so spending long hours on my ass is no stranger to me. I try and swap the computer chair for my motorcycle as often as I can, taking long (sometimes too long) trips and making videos of my travels along the way.

Hey i think your videos are great, you should keep them up!!!! Well im 17 and i finally talked my mom into letting me get a motorcycle and i decided on the Ninja 250r, its my first sport bike and its pretty cheap cause i have to pay for it on my own and its not that powerful so i wont have to worry about being stupid on it. But i've been around dirt bikes most of my life but i wanted to know your input on the 250, you seem like a pretty smart guy so just thought i'd ask.

Hey Krunchy,

I have never ridden a zx6r, but I've sat one ones many times. I really liked them, and thought of upgrading to one from my 650r, but the lean angle of my body is too aggressive. So, yes I did get the 650r because of its more upright position. So for you, it's a matter of your preferences. If you are not doing long distance riding then the zx6r might suit you more, however, the only advantage the zx6r has over the 650r is in the higher speeds. For lower speeds (0-60) the 650r is a FUN bike to ride. The zx6r has more power than the 650r, but that doesn't necessarily make for a more fun ride. Hope that helped.

I was wandering if you got the 650 r because of the riding position is more upright, but have you ever ridden like a zx6r? If so, did you notice if the lower bars made a big difference? I been thinking of either upgrading to a 650r or a zx6r or maybe a cbr 600.
