He's NOT the new JFK, and he certainly isn't our only hope. We had 8, count em EIGHT Democratic candidates in this election for nomination, and you ignored all but 2. Now I've gotta choose between Bush III or Nobama. There were so many other great candidates that were WAY more qualified than Hilary and Obama, like Dennis Kucinich or Mike Gravel. Kucinich and Gravel were REAL progressives who've actually done things in Congress. It's thanks to Gravel we ended the draft when we did. It's thanks to Gravel that anyone can read the Pentagon Papers (read them into the public record). Kucinich is the one who introduced impeachment legislation, not Obama or Hilary. Where was Obama when Nancy Pelosi took a bill off the table to require Congress' approval before going to war with Iran, all because the Israeli lobby pressured her???

It takes more than hope and empty rhetoric to get things done.

You morons act like Obama is the Second Coming of Christ. It's sickening. Obama is UNqualified, period! What has he done in the Senate for real "change" in the last 4 years? How many of his bills have passed? Did he filibuster or was a major oponent of the FISA bill in the end? NO!

OBAMA OBAMA OBAMA..OBAMA represents everyone from college students to the elders, even the poor, rich, etc. Obama was raised by a single mom unlike the other 2 candidates, so he knows the middle class value. I voted for the first time this year after listening to a great speech Obama gave. This is the most exiting presidential election I have ever been involved in. when I used to vote, I would always have to pick the best of the evils, but I don't feel that way in this election.
