Right On! There aren't as many low-budget films coming out. I don't think that it's because of a lack of interest. I've been told and begun to notice that idea's are running out. Since they are low-budget films you don't have as much freedom as someone who is looking to spend over $1000 on a film. Freedom meaning like hiring professional actors and excellent quality equipment. For low-budget film makers i think that there is more passion involved tho, no offense to all of the other great Fan Films but you make a fan film because you want to share you interest and views on Star Wars, or anything for that matter.

Somethings that may help restore low-budget fan films is maybe some ideas from the viewers, it is the viewers that boost the ratings. I've started a topic on The Force .Net boards for suggestions and ideas if you have any ideas or suggestions for anyone really please post them.
