Age of Computers: I started mixing because i realized one day that music is an obsession, and I love the feeling that you get when you make something and then you're like "Holy crap that sounds awesome." So basically i put the two together. My four most inspirational artists that are Celldweller, BT, Ferry Corsten, and Red Sky Rising. They are all solo artists, and make all their stuff on their own which I give them mad props for doing. It's people like Klayton, Brian, Ferry, and 'Star that I look up to. People who dont just do it for the money but do this because they love it and have a passion for it. Check them out and maybe they'll inspire you too! Anyway, I mix and produce at home, no fancy studios and all that. Just an Acer computer with a hell of a lot of memory on it. Nothing special. I make my music becasue it's something I love to do. I know I'm done with a track when I like it, not when other people do. Even if you do or don't like what I make, I respect your opinion. It usually takes me like 5 months (literally) to finish just one track becasue if something sounds just a tiny bit off to me, then I dont like it and HAVE to change it. I use ACID Music Studio as my main DAW and also use Fl Studio 7 to synthesize my own loops and what not. When I feel that it will fit, I might use a premade loop here or there (even though I hate to) but what can I say, some stuff just kicks so much ass that you have to use it. You know what im talking about right? ;-) I also use various VST's and plugins to achieve the sounds that I want.

Beat Squad: So one day, Alex and Justin were sitting in a boring-ass math class and were like "Dude we should make some sick beats" "Yeah man I know" "But what should we call ourselves?" "I dunno..." And yes, about 5 days later, Beat Squad was formed, fusing the Techno/Trance of Division Plus Master Beat (Justin) with the Electronica/Breakbeat/Industri al of Age of Computers (Alex). We make music because it's something we love to do, and we plan to both have a future built roughly around it. As of right now, we are pretty n00bish but that wont stop us. Enjoy our choons.
