It's not a scam, but it is all old news. It just gives you tips on how to use AdSense, design a website, get a good google rank etc. It basically teaches you to get people to come to your website and click on the ads, getting you paid pennies for each traffic directed for your site. So you need hundreds-of-thousands of people clicking your ads to make money. This guy is probably getting paid for you clicking on that link. Be careful.
