Hi John
Like you I was an original Punk 76, then into the futurist scene and onto middle age :-)

I have hundred of vids (Betamax and VHS) of 80's stuff including over 10 hours of tik and tok, shock and solo performances. I'll try and start uploading some of my stuff also.

Great to see all this music.

What the hell. I had your AFOS - I Ran video in my favorites and I e\went to view it but it said it was removed by BBC because of copywrite stuff. Thats too bad

Hi There....

Your stuff is of exceptional quality, remembering these are 25 years + in age some of them, it would be a crying shame if you couldn't archive all you tapes into digital format before they degrade beyond repair....
Project for you, A set of DVD's of the stuff you have, the interest in the 80's is still an ever growing market, and you probably wouldn't find such a fine collection anywhere....Make yourself a fortune by letting all of us own our own copies....

Well done mate, we need people like you so the best era in music history lives on forever..

Ziggy

Your generation is pretty lucky. You got to see good bands when they were new. Now I have to look back on bands that have already split for good music. Save for a few bands. Japan certainly is one of the more interesting and unique groups from then though.

No, adding as a friend is fine. By the way, I notice you've got David Sylvian as an avatar. I managed to get to see them live once, (I think it was 1982, in Newcastle, UK), and they were fantastic. I've got loads of old Japan on video too, though others have already uploaded most of it.
