This was done on an 8-foot goal, but it's still fucking sick.

Guitar Hero Full Combos
Guitar Hero--Take It Off FC with Optimal SP Path
June 08, 2008, 04:02 PM
This is my full combo of Take it Off from the original Guitar Hero using the optimal star power path. My execution isn't perfect, which is why my score comes up a little short of optimal. However, you can still use this video to observe the perfect star power path.

I have just recently burned my fifth custom disc. It has some awesome songs on it (examples: "Black Widow of La Porte", "Concerto", "Crossing the Rubicon"). I haven't put up any new videos in a long time, but I have a bunch of them ready to upload. I'll probably do it soon. Most of the videos are custom songs, (I'll make a new playlist for those) but a few are score proofs (5-star on "The Way it Ends," 4-star on "Through the Fire and Flames," 4-star on "The Devil Went Down to Georgia").

OK, Operation Ground and Pound is basically impossible. It seems like the more of those One-speed triplets you manage to get past, the more of them are right around the corner. It takes a fucking pro to even PASS that song, and that is just absolutely ridiculous.
Despite my failure to do the impossible, I did pass Fury of the Storm twice (for a screen video and a hands video). That song is much easier, although it's still incredibly hard. |

I made some videos of custom songs, but I'm not putting them up until later. I really want to get one of Eruption (passed) and a few more Dragonforce songs. I can pass some of the Dragonforce customs that I have, but not all of them. I'm really focusing on Operation Ground and Pound (last time failed at 75%).

Three new videos: 1)Proof of a random Who Was in My Room Last Night full combo 2)Take it Off full comboed with the optimal star power path 3)Unsung full comboed with the optimal star power path. I skipped Fat Lip (annoying star power path) and Cochise (stupid chord wall). As of right now, the first video is up, the second one is processing, and the third is uploading. They should all be available within an hour or two.

3 new videos uploading now: Crossroads Solos 1 and 2 full combos and a Godzilla full combo. All three are hands videos. I also have a -4 hands video of the Symphony of Destruction solo if anyone wants to see it. I would prefer not to post that until I get a full combo of it on video, but that might be awhile.

The synth videos will probably not come for a while, because I want to get the entire song "written" before I post it. Also, I might skip Fat Lip in the Guitar Hero full combos thing (the star power activations are REALLY hard and the song is pretty annoying to listen to). Finally, I made a few hands videos of Guitar Hero 1 solos in practice mode (using a custom disc obviously). One video is of an entire song: Godzilla. This is the first full song that I've ever full comboed in practice mode. I know it's kind of stupid for it to be in practice mode, but I wasn't really planning on getting the full combo. I was trying to locate the guitar fills before the solo so that I could include them in the video. I may do that song with the star power path soon just to make the full combo "real."

I just made a bunch of videos of different solos in Guitar Hero. I will begin uploading them after I post this comment. I didn't get any of the "promised" ones, but I did try them all. The most impressive one is probably Electric Eye solo E 98%, (hands video) even though it is the only non-FC video that I will post. I only made one more full song video, (Ziggy Stardust) but I will keep making those later.

Four more Guitar Hero videos coming when they finish uploading: Killer Queen, Hey You, Stellar, and Heart Full of Black. That's the third tier minus Symphony of Destruction. The fourth tier doesn't look like it will cause any major problems.

I have some synth videos planned: I'm gradually writing a bandneon (type of accordion) part to go along with a preset song on my keyboard. I play the song frequently, playing the part that I've written so far and improvising the remainder of the song. I write the song this way--as I improvise, I try to pick out the good stuff and stick with it. It's slow, but I think I'll get the entire part out of it eventually. The first video will just be the song playing by itself. The next video will be what I've written so far. Other videos may include additional improvisation or more of the written part.
