Awake In America is a national non-profit organization (501c3) focused on sleep-related issues, such as sleep deprivation, sleep hygiene, shift work, and other issues, including sleep disorders, such as sleep apnea, narcolepsy, restless legs syndrome, and others.


Launched in 2004, Awake In America is based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Among other things, Awake In America has a relief program to assist low-income individuals and individuals in-need of sleep studies to diagnose suspected sleep apnea, as well as a relief program to assist low-income individuals in-need of CPAP or BiPAP equipment to treat diagnosed sleep apnea.
