To celebrate the event, Scorpion Productions Staff & Clients gathered around the pool of the Montgomery Golf Course on May 1st for a night filled with fun & entertainment!

There was plenty of talents on display & ample entertainment to appease everyone's senses. The scenic venue kept all the good looking people of dubai delighted while they indulged in the hedonistic pleasures of the night.

New Staff at Scorpion Productions

We're glad to introduce mirna estephan, our new Exec Producer.
mirna has over 12 years experience in the production industry in the Middle-East, mainly in the production of TV commercials, music video clips & documentaries.

Also new on board is Julie Debbas, who has just joined us as Producer from Lebanon. Julie carries many years experience as both production manager and producer.

ELK VIDEO CLIP

Aleksi and Akseli, two
famous Finnish singers chose Dubai to shoot their music video clip in.

ELK is a song that conveys the stong message of global warming that the artists feel very passionately about.

To enhance the message, real fire was created on set as well as many other special effects depicting the dangers of global warning. This was executed by Dubai based art director / SFX Rolland who made it all look so easy!

Showing highly damaged skin was created by the skillful hands of SFX make up artist Julius; this was to further emphasize the dangers of a depleting ozone layer.

The video clip was an amazing production and a memorable shoot, not only for the talented directors, producers & artists who are so passionate about the business but also for the strong value of the public service message they want to convey.

Lifebuoy

Thanks to Director Serge Oryan and DOP Michael Brieley, the entire shoot was executed in a very creative way.

The TVC was produced for Unilever India and was primarily shot for the Saudi market.

The main character of the TVC is a very gifted little boy with no previous acting experience but he amazed everyone with his natural & credible performance!

The presence of a kitten on set and a trainer to train the kitten and make him more comfortable on the set, was a unique and enjoyable situation.
The whole production was a success because of everybody's full cooperation and whole hearted dedicated team effort to ensure that a professional production was achieved.

MOUNTAIN DEW

The complicity of both Lebanese talents, director Serge Oryan and DOP Toufic Tabbal made this thrill driven TVC a great success.

Mountain Dew was entirely produced in Dubai for the Nigerian market.
The challenge again was to make believe it was shot on location in Nigeria; therefore special attention was given to the smallest details.
The careful selection of the cast, locations and the overall styling added to the authenticity of the mood.

The Nigerian looking talents were all found in Dubai; except for the South African biker who was flown in for his exciting stunt skills.

STC AFAQ DSL SHAMEL

We serviced this TVC production for AB&L Films Greece who came to shoot in Dubai for the 1st time with their film director Babis.

It was an interesting & fun project, thanks to the great concept of Leo Burnett KSA & the team work of everyone involved.

Dubai based DOP Peter Davies contributed to the success of the shoot, together with AD Zeina Saab who was flown in from Beirut.

The challenge was to find authentic Saudi-looking cast in Dubai to play alongside the Saudi talents who were flown in for the occasion.
The result was an ensemble of very lively, hilariously funny good actors that ignited the set !
