Joke Hacker is a 45 year old Brit raised in East London and now living with his Finnish wife and 2 kids in Finland since 1995. Half English, half German and born in Singapore when it was still part of the British Empire :)

I founded the SydesJokes List at Yahoo Groups in June 1999 and now it has grown to over 3000 subscribers. It started as a place to send jokes that I received and grew to a daily joke mail where I send 6 jokes a day Mon-Sun, 365 days a year. I hate sending large attachments so I began using different hosting options to store the files and place the links in the daily mails. I used GeoCities and Yahoo (and even the File section at SydesJokes group) before I moved to my first private domain www.sydes.net/jokes/ (this url now points to the current site) before I finally moved permanently to www.sydesjokes.com where I now have 400Gb of storage and 2000Gb bandwidth a month.
