This site will show segments from episodes of The Atheena Show that airs in the San Antonio area on TV every Tuesday and Sunday @ 3pm on TWC channel 20 & Grande ch 19. This variety show begins with a couple minutes of Atheena belly dancing, usually with other dancers, and then other entertainers such as local & national bands (mostly rock) are shown. R&R Pro, who is the co-producer, also helps rock bands get gigs in the local San Antonio area.
Atheena's saying at the end of each episode is "support live entertainment, for what a boring world it would be without it!" http://hometown.aol.com/TheAth eenaShow/index.html
Name: Our show's host is Atheena
Atheena is also the director of our show. She has been an entertainer all her life. Her specialty & passion is belly dancing. She is known for her shimmies and adictive smile. She has been compared to Fefe Abdou by Egyptian admirers and referred to as "the Queen of amies" by Americans. She says "There is no better "high" than making someone, especially a child, smile by belly dancing for them." She has a TV show because she feels there is so much other unknown talent out there that others should see it too, wheather it be magic, dance or singing etc. She loves to entertain people & her dream is to be on a national TV show or in a movie once before she dies; no matter how small the part.
