This is an excellent example of what Death Metal was in the early 90s, a relentless force that used chaos to give birth to many shining stars. Although this isnt the brightest of these stars, it still educes a hearty light. Be sure to check this out for an onslaught on the senses.

The key to this as with most quality Death Metal is bounding momentum. This is seen here in perfect example, as songs are constructed in a linear fashion, each section as overbearing as the last. This allows for the flawless articulation of utter horror the onrush of death as man falls prey to the lawless extremity of Nature. The atmosphere is particularly excruciating, as if the guitars are razors and the drums are boulders falling from blackened skies.

The songs roll on like a continuous thunderstorm, effortlessly changing direction. Chaos emanates from beneath the abrasive guitar tone, unleashing a maze of torment, a shrine of pain. The structures are complex, filled with fierce torrents of merciless jackhammer riffing, amongst these is the interspersion of spiralling melodies that wrap around the shape of the riffs, seeming to come from no where like fiery-eyed serpents arising from the darkest depths of the netherworld.

The victim writhes in pain from a heavily accentuated nettle sting, his eyes poked out with the thorns of death and hammered into nothingness under tyrannous syncopated Speed Metal riffing. This medley could not be replete without the addition of a final torture coming in the form of expertly placed Doom sections that prolong the jeopardy of their flailing victim.

Thus, you have it, a fitting abstraction of this bestial incarnation, Hate & Despise, from the hordes of German might. Its an unforgiving journey into the reality of death and pain and the rebuke of the schizophrenic, unheroic modern approach to these, as we so incredulously deem them, atrocities. The Lemming Project strike deep into the solar plexus of humanity, unfurling tendrils at will, entangling the intruders of Natural Law within shards of feral, spiralling and downright callous tremolo outbursts.
