BESTiE the band

BESTiE are an indie rock group from East Vancouver, Canada.  

In their 3 year history from 2013-2016 they went from the dirty fringes of East Vancouver to “almost” escaping its trenches.  

Following their first single release they won $50k in a radio contest (104.9FM Peak Performance Project) which they used to record their debut album.  The album would win the pop album of the year award at the Western Canadian Music Awards in 2015 along with being named one of the top new indie artists in Canada at the SiriusXM Indies at Canadian Music Week in 2014.  The album and group would end up getting it’s entire catalog extensively licensed in film, tv and Netflix programs such the Scream series, MTV’s Teen Mom, featured on Vice with over 5 million streams to date and more. 

By the end of 2015 the group would end up abruptly breaking up mid way through completing their follow up album.

After a ten year hiatus, “Best Friend” (we used to be) is the group's first new music.
