Bible in the Schools

Western Civilization is indebted to the Bible for its inspiration in our art, music, literature, culture, history, government and lives. Studying it is critical to understanding past and current events. The Bible is a reference for historians. It documents 2,000 years of civilization's history and corroborates the writings of historians through the ages. Since 1922, Bible in the Schools has provided Hamilton County, TN, public school students the opportunity to study the Bible as an elective course, at no cost to taxpayers.
