All my VGMVs can be found here. I pretty much go by games that interest me and have good cutscenes I can use, although every now and then I make one that isn't game-centric. I do a lot of tributes using game footage and cutscenes to amp up a game I'm waiting for. They've gotten mildly popular so maybe I'm doing something right here...

Movies and Shows: The Office, Scrubs, Naruto, My Name is Earl, Whose Line?, Family Guy, 30 Rock, South Park, Prince of Tennis, Heroes, Battlestar Galactica, etc...
Music: Very selective. It's gotta have a good sound and singing at least somewhere in it. I like a lot of R&B and Hip-Hop, but I don't listen to generic rap and/or the next short story they can slap a drum beat and some sirens onto and call it the latest hip-hop joint. I also like certain, lower-key rock songs and even the occasional "pop" song (OCCASIONAL).
Books: Harry Potter, Pendragon: Journal of an Adventure through Space and Time (I had to be specific, there are a lot of crappy King Arthur books with that name), anything by Dan Brown, Artemis Fowl, basically any sci-fi/fantasy blend or gripping mystery.
