Bill Rude works professionally as a designer, animator, and effects expert with a penchant for retro horror. Work of his has been created for over a hundred movies and TV shows, including True Blood, Ghost Whisperer, King Kong: Skull Island, Conjuring 2, Fantastic Beasts and where to find them, and four American Girl movies.

When not drawing monsters or appearing in costume, Rude has also lectured at California Institute of the Arts, Art Center College of Art & Design, University of Southern California, Minneapolis College of Art & Design, the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, Tiki Oasis, and Midsummer Scream Halloween Festival.
