Mountainside Martial Arts Center

At Mountainside Martial Arts we offer unparalleled martial arts instruction to children ages 4 and older, adults, 1:1 private lessons as well as private group instruction. Our school teaches the Japanese art of Wado-Ryu karate. We offer a family oriented atmosphere with recently expanded study center & viewing room. Our Curriculum Program is based on a general syllabus which specifies what techniques/behaviors must be performed in order to achieve a particular rank.

The school’s philosophy is to encourage our students to become better citizens. Strong emphasis is placed on motor skill development, self discipline, focus, balance, and self-esteem.
