Anyway, yes, I'm off to Mexico. But here's a little gift for you to enjoy while I'm gone. This is what I have so far for that amv that I hinted largely at but didn't reveal the true nature of. And I completely lack the inspiration to finish it. (I put 17 and a half hours into this beta and I'm about halfway.) But alas. Here is is.
True nature:
It's an extremely popular (according to Wikipedia, this song spent 17 weeks as the number one song on the French Singles Chart) song from a French musical remake of Romeo and Juliet. This video is closely patterned after the original music video, which I recommend everyone watch. (Which is why it's so good, I didn't come up with the ideas for this stuff O.o;; ) The concept for the song is Romeo (Tamaki,) Benvolio (Kyoya,)and Mercutio (Hikaru) declare themselves the Kings of the World (literal translation for "Les Rois Du Monde") because they love and dance and live life, as opposed to the real kings, who spend all their time trying to maintain their fame and wealth and position, and thus, don't really live.

As for the story, it's pretty open to interpretation, so feel free to interpret away! (Translation: I didn't really have a story in mind when I came up with it... I just sort of used scenes that fit...)
But now I have a story, so after you've seen the amv, go ahead and read it and see if it jives with your thoughts. ^-^;; Or whatever.
Kaoru knows Hikaru is in love with Haruhi, and because of his love for his brother, he vows not to make any sort of move on her. (Even though I blocked Hikaru out of this amv every chance I got...) However, she's just "so cute" and he finds himself, uh, daydreaming about her, and following her around. One of his daydreams involves her missing her train and having to stay the night at his house. (With Hikaru conveniently elsewhere...) In the end, during one of his stalkings, Haruhi happens to come outside and see him, and the vase from the window which he had watched her though before falls through and he ends up saving her life. (Good job, Kaoru) Anyway, Kaoru somewhat comes to his senses and returns to his "can't-make-a-move-because-of-Hikaru" policy.
I'm not sure what's up with the quality, whether I can blame it on youtube, or if it's my programs fault... :(
Again, this isn't that most amazing video ever I keep talking about, that baby is still in the cooker. ^-^;; Feel free to harass me about how long I'm taking. I need the harassment.

It's kind of Allelujah X Soma, if you even know who she is. XD I looked her up just now, and I'm like "Her name was SOMA?! Since when?!" (In some of his last moments on screen, Allelujah addressed her as "Marie," which was the only time she was referred to by such a name and apparently that was much more memorable to me for whatever reason.)
Maybe I'll make Allelujah a proper tribute someday. (It's very difficult to make him any sort of tribute using episodes you downloaded for the Lockon tribute you have planned after you finish your flippin' grandest amv ever. But no promises. Any tribute to any Gundam boy may not happen. My grandest amv yet will happen.)
