Local Independent Charities of America

Founded in 1987 by federal employees for federal employees and the local charities of the Combined Federal Campaign, LICA's mission is to organize and prepare our member charities for effective participation in at-work employee charitable fund drives.  LICA educates local CFC participating charities about CFC governance, structure, and changes to the regulatory requirements.  LICA teaches local charities how best to market themselves in the CFC and other state, local, and private sector workplace fund drives.   And to do all the above as cost-effectively as possible consistent with delivering quality service.
