The Elena Obraztsova Cultural Centre

The Elena Obraztsova Cultural Centre was officially
opened in 1996 in St. Petersburg.
The Сentre is situated in the historic part of St. Petersburg, at number 65 Nevsky Prospect, which is known as the House of G. Blokk and was designed by L. Fufaevsky. 
Elena Obraztsova invested considerable efforts and funds in the restoration and revival of the Centre's historic interiors.
A major milestone for the Cultural Centre was the
establishment of the International Competition of Young
Opera Singers in St. Petersburg in 1999, which paved the way for a whole constellation of brilliant vocalists on the big stage.
In 2006, the great singer set up the International
Competition of Young Vocalists, emphasizing the significance of educating singers from an early age.
Aﬅer the passing of Elena Obraztsova, the Cultural Centre
named aﬅer her cherishes the memory of the singer by
continuing and developing the educational projects, as well as by implementing ideas for support of young talents actively.
