In her 25 years of experience as an audiologist, Dr. Rose Moura has helped a lot of people reconnect with the life they were missing by regaining their hearing. In all that time, the sheer joy of getting to know so many wonderful people and helping them discover a whole new world of hearing, has been as rewarding a journey as any she could have imagined.

You'd think that would be enough, but when she's not working or caring for her mother, travelling or bird watching, you'll find Rose exploring the lives of people she'll may only meet in books. Historical fiction and autobiographies are yet another way to get a glimpse into the lives and loves of people, places and the incredible life we all share; "Real people are fascinating."
