I want to take a moment to address issues on the air today...Brick is a valued member of our team and we are fortunate to have him...We also want to stress that Chip Rockcliff is coming on to host Weekend Edition as a temporary measure...We in no way intend to keep Chip on as a full-time anchor for the weekend...

That said, we are very lucky to have Chip...He comes to us from Blayne! Cosmetology College and is a very bright promising star in the field of journalism...His expose on hair dyes that will rock your summer 'do certainly convinced this crusty old pro, and that doesn't happen too often...In any case, please welcome Chip in his first hosting role...Don't worry, Brick will be back Monday...He needs the money too bad haha j/k ;)...

I just wanted to profusely thank all of my newfound fans for supporting me this week. I hit the skids a little since being let go from KTMA, but 1 Minute News recognized a seasoned professional when they saw one.

To all the subscribers, you will not be disappointed. Thanks to your dedication, you will all be the first to know the exciting news: 1 Minute News has been expanded into a weekend show! Instead of seeing me five times a week, you are all lucky enough to see me SIX times a week! The format is a little more relaxed, exactly like weekends should be. We're planning on calling it 1 Minute Update: Weekend Edition. I know the title is a little edgy. I hope it did not offend anyone.

I'm really excited for this new opportunity, so look for my new show on Saturday!!
