Fact)
The universe is approx 13.7B yrs old, solar system approx 4.5B yrs old, life originated (Abiogenesis) on this planet approx 3.5B years ago and a dynamic process called evolution has resulted in an incredible diversity of life on this planet including us.

Belief)
I believe that God put laws and processes in place as his way of creating a species with free will and the ability to comprehend a relationship with God. At this point God infused us with spirit and we became "created in his image" as a triune being of mind, body and spirit. God has since revealed himself directly and through the writing of scriptures by men, who were inspired by his spirit. These scriptures are not cold, literal and static but are a reflection of the "living word" of God in Jesus Christ, where the holy spirit can give us revelation of deeper truths of the heart and the scriptures themselves.
As a Christian, I find it amazing that the vast majority of noise aired is promoting a false dichotomy of Science vs Religion. This is simply not the case and is a minority viewpoint.

Young earth creationism is a scam with particular organisations making millions by preying on the ignorance of the scientific illiterate.

Intelligent Design is nothing but an appeal to ignorance (We don't understand how .... so it must have been a designer).

Scientists who speak out saying that science has disproved the existence of God are not making this claim from a scientific standing. They are making this claim from a viewpoint of philosophical naturalism (the belief that the natural is all that there is).

Science can never prove or disprove the existence of God. Science is bound by methodological naturalism which cannot comment on the existence or non-existence of the supernatural. Methodological naturalism, which is a process, is not philosophical naturalism, a belief.

There is no conflict between science and a belief in God unless you violate science or insist on approaching scripture like the Pharisees.

Examples of Evolution occurring "NOW"
Pt5 Your knowledge of hominid evolution matches the avian. We have fossil evidence now from over 5000 individuals. All (including us) are species of ape. Apes are defined as the superfamily Hominoidea. Great apes are the family Hominidae (Humans, Chimps, Gorillas and Orangutans). This makes the "just an ape" statement irrelevant. There is no transition between modern monkeys and humans because we did not evolve from any modern organism. We share common ancestors. (2 weeks ago)

Pt4 Bony fish to tetrapod transitions. Osteolepis, Eusthenopteron, Sterropterygion, Panderichthys, Elpistostega, Tiktaalik, Elginerpeton, Densignathus, Ventastega, Metaxygnathus, Obruchevichthys, Hynerpeton, Acanthostega, Ichthyostega, Whatcheeria, Pederpes, Greerepton, Crassigyrinus, Pholidogaster, Pteroplax, Baphetes, Balnerpeton, Dendrepton, Silvanerpeton, Proteogryinus and Eoherpeton. I won't go into the abundance of whale or reptile to mammal transitions unless you request. (2 weeks ago)

Pt3 Are there any other "just a bird"(s) you know of that have "no beak"? We now examples of the evolution of type I to type IV feathers. Check out these examples, Protoavis, Protarchaeopteryx, Archeopteryx, Avimimus, Sinosauropteryx, Caudipteryx, Rahonavis, Shuvuuia, Sinornithosaurus, Beipiasaurus, Microraptor, Nomingia, Epidendrosaurus, Cryptovolans, Scansoriopteryx, Yixianosaurus, Dilong, Pedopenna, Jinfengopteryx, Sinocalliopteryx, Sinornis, Ambiortus, Hesperornis, Ichthyornis. (2 weeks ago)

Pt2 Most YEC orgs state that the prescence of feathers indicates something as "all" bird. If this were true (which it's not), we would basically have to reclassify all maniraptoran dinosaurs as birds (which they are not). I'm not sure which species you are referring to but I'll take a punt on Archaeopteryx as opposed to Dilong the feathered Tyrannosaur. This was a bird with a long bony tail, teeth, no beak, three fingers with claws and a hyperextensible second toe (like a raptors claw). (2 weeks ago)

Pt1 This may take a couple of posts due to the character number restriction. It appears that you are simply repeating the same misrepresentations I see from many of the dishonest creationist organisations. As a Christian, it pains me to see people deluded by their dishonest behaviour. Firstly on the dinosaur to bird transitions, you need to understand that birds (aves) are dinosaurs. This is how phylogenies, clades and nested hierarchies work (2 weeks ago)

This video series exposed the lies and misrepresentations regarding evolution, abiogenesis and the scientific method that these charlatans employ to deceive those who do not have a solid understanding of science. In the process they are not only deceiving their followers but are in all likelyhood turning more people away from christianity by their behavioural example than they are drawing to it.

If the behaviours which they are demonstrating for all to see are their example of "The way of the master" , then their methods of obnoxious antagonism, rudeness and lies, either paint a grim picture of the nature of Christ or there is a different "master" at work here.

As a Christian myself, I find the deceitful methods employed by these snake oil salesmen to be dramatically opposite to my understanding of the true way of the master.

This video series is a synchronised compilation of the "Way Of The Master" critiques by Extant Dodos and DonExodus2.

Judgment Day: Intelligent Design on Trial captures the turmoil that tore apart the community of Dover, Pennsylvania in a landmark battle over the teaching of evolution in public schools. In 2004, the Dover school board ordered science teachers to read a statement to high school biology students about an alternative to Darwin s theory of evolution called intelligent design the idea that life is too complex to have evolved naturally and so must have been designed by an intelligent agent. The teachers refused to comply, and both parents and teachers filed a lawsuit in federal court accusing the school board of violating the constitutional separation of church and state. This is the trial where Behe admitted that if the definition of science was broadened to allow ID, it would also sweep in Astrology. This is the trial which saw Kenneth Miller completely dismantle "Irreducible Complexity". This is the trial where Buckingham and Bonsell went from saying "we don't know where the books came from" to the revelation that Buckingham had taken up an offering in his church, banked the money, wrote a cheque to Bonsell, Bonsell gave it to his father and his father bought the ID books. This is the trial where a number of key witnesses from the upper echelon of the Discovery Institute pulled out at the last minute and therefore would not defend the claims of intelligent Design under oath. http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/id/
Ken Ham from Answers In Genesis provides his answer to the question "Do Animals Evolve?". You are then provided with the real answer. This debunk series from extantdodo exposes some of the lies and misrepresentations from this young earth creationist and his young earth creationism organisation.

Hi rmb,

I do have a copy of Extant Dodos critical analysis of "Icons of evolution" but I haven't posted it due to the DMCA claims. The other one I haven't put up is Lee Strobel's "Case for a creator"

As soon as I get the all clear both will be up.

Hi Djarm67, I was just wondering if you had a copy of ExtantDodos "Icons of Evolution" debunk. I can't view it on their channel due to a copyright claim by the Discovery Institute (I was really looking forward to watching it too). Seeing as you host a lot a lot of their videos I thought you might be the person to ask. Sorry to be a bother.

Blessings,

RMB

Pt)4

The second condition / category is that you cannot treat scripture like the Pharisees treated it. I.e. you cannot take a dogmatic literalist view of scripture. As a person of faith ( I won't go off topic into theism / atheism), I don't believe that this was ever the intention for scriptural interpretation as it locks scripture into a bronze age paradigm and denies the power of relevance and revelation. This is then compounded by certain organisations / people who then misrepresent observable facts to attempt to support their literalistic viewpoint. They even go to the extent of dishonestly taking a sentence in isolation from context to pretend that the author supports the opposite viewpoint (quote mining "and" bearing false witness).

P.S. Thanks imdogmatrixx

Pt3)

Another result of the broadening of the definition of science is that it would not only open the door for the teaching of creationism or intelligent design in science class, but also alchemy alongside chemistry, witchcraft alongside physics and astrology alongside astronomy. If we were to allow the teaching of alternative theories as opposed to the teaching of the established theory we would also learn flat earth theory alongside spherical, aliens built the pyramids and geocentrism alongside heliocentrism.

Pt2)

I see the "special circumstances" for tension and conflict falling into two categories as follows. I have two conditions over on the left <----- to my statement of no conflict between science and faith. The first is that you cannot violate science (the scientific method). Once you step outside of methodological naturalism it is no longer science. For example, if you were to broaden the definition of science to include the super-natural as an explanatory cause for a
