wait so the Xvid thing didn't work? :( because it should! the only other thing you would need is DirectX, that's what the manual said, and Windows usually comes with it set up already.

but good luck, if it works on your desktop then all you'll need is a cable or card reader for that and it'll be perfect!

hey I just had an idea, if you know the model number for the camera then we could probably figure out what your laptop needs to show the video in Windows Movie Maker! :D

well i go to start then all programs, then find it in there, how do you get videos on youtube it you dont have a spot for your memory card??

oh yeahh i use a digital too, to edit i use windows movie maker but i dont use a laptop so it might be different
