The only way we can understand God's purposes is to humble ourselves and come to Christ in childlike faith. Then the deep things of God become clear to us.

The problem with most of us is that we are too proud to admit our need. We want to understand before we trust God and His Word. But our Lord says that God reveals Himself only to "babes"--those who come to Him in unassuming meekness and unquestioning faith.
