Every time I post a video, or look back at the ones I've already posted I ask myself the same question. "Why have I posted myself playing my guitar and singing in a public forum?" I have to question whether or not it's some form of approval seeking or desire for external validation. Am I just looking to have strangers say "Wow! you're wonderful!"...Then I suppose I must believe the ones who say "Wow! You're terrible!"... (...This said, I'm grateful for all comments on what I upload) So I have to make sure that I'm doing it because I simply love doing it, and like all forms of self-expression, it needs to be seen, heard or read. I find it important to ask the "Why..." question repeatedly tho, for my narcissism can get the better of me.
