Eric, the Malahide Castle show was unfortunate. I came all the way from California to stand in that field and get soaked and I was already sick from something I picked up on the plane on the flight over. I couldn't handle it and had to leave. I don't think you liked the weather either. I hope you'll come to California again and play an indoor venue.

I would just like to say that you are truly my hero and one of the most inspirational people the world has ever seen. It is because of you that I came to love guitar so much, and I now own your autobiography. Before I die, I will see you in concert somehow. Your success is truly recognized through your hard work as a child through this very day. You deserve to be the lone individual in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame who has been nominated and inducted three times. Mr. Clapton, thank you for all you have done for the people of the world.

Clapton, thanks for all you've given to the world. As a guitarist, no music has touched my soul as much as yours, and has inspired me so much. I look up to you, so thanks again for everything, especially for the concert in Indiana on my birthday in May '08. My favorite present were those tickets!
