Hey! I think it's hilarious that you said Scott Hamilton was a douche bag. I completely agree. His commentary is horrible... but sometimes he gets so excited that it's humorous. He probably crapped his pants when Tara won.

Hi, just wanted to say thanks for posting the Tara Lipinski Olympics 98 clip from Australia, I love the routine. I kind of understand why you disabled comments for the clip as negativity can be very disheartening especially when you are a skating fan but on the other hand, surely it is also a good thing when people still debate about particular skaters ten years and more after the performances? I have also been involved in good debates over the whole Baiul/Kerrigan debacle in 1994! Even if someone says something negative, it's great to see people coming to the defence of the skater they like, there's so much back up for Tara on this clip when people have said negative things. Either way, I think the debate is good for the sport, it shows the interest people have and would ask if you would open up the clip for comments again. Let those who dislike Tara or other skaters have their say but then let their fans defend them and express their admiration as well...
