The guitar that I use in my videos (the dark blue one) is a custom made guitar by my dad. It's called the DS12. It wasn't made by machine it was all made by hand. The Humbucker pickups I use are: DiMarzio PAF Joe (joe satriani humbucker) and the Dimarzio Super Distortion humbucker. Thats how i get all that distortion lol. I'll have to say, the super distortion pickup gives more distortion than both of the pickups combined on my Ibanez.

How I learn songs: I don't use any tabs or a guitar teacher to learn songs. I learn everything by ear, because mostly every Tab lies. The people that make the tabs are not professionals. They are just normal people play guitar and post tabs on websites. A good way to work on your ear is to listen to a song and try to find where it is on the guitar neck. Then try learning it then listen to the song again to see if you are right.

If you were to ask who my favorite guitarist is it would probably be Synyster Gates from Avenged Sevenfold because, believe it or not, I met him in person and got to have a guitar lesson.

The first band that got me into metal & metal guitar is Anthrax. Anthrax is in the top 5 thrash metal bands. Scott Ian from Anthrax was actually a HUGE influence for me to start playing metal guitar.
