I believe art is life and with art the world can be transformed in ways unimaginable to the ordinary mind.
Name: Nkolika
I am a Nigerian. Born in Kitwe, Zambia along with my twin sister. I have a Medicine and Surgery degree from the University of Nigeria Nsukka and I'm currently living in Botswana with my husband.

So why the art videos you'd ask?

Well, there are times I ask myself that too. But the thing is I love art. I love painting. I love to just sit and marvel at the wonders that surround us daily. I love seeing God in nature. I love seeing the beauty that lies hidden in every aspect of life (be it happy times, in pain, in suffering.....in sickness). My love for all these has been the main motivating force that pushes me to strive to find ways to express myself. There are so many ways one can express an innate desire and love; but I have chosen to use my talent because quite frankly that is the best way because it affords me the opportunity to not only share what I see and feel but also to share my gift.

As a woman I strive to use my talent to encourage young women to discover their creative sides because I truly believe everyone has one. As a self taught artist I strive to show the world that one can excel in anything....so long as you make up your mind to.

I had my 1st solo exhibition in July 2007 at the Museum of Colonial History in Lokoja ,Nigeria. This was during my National Service year. A total of 37 works were on exhibit and the theme of the exhibition was "Attractions of Kogi State: Observations by a Corps Member". The aim of the exhibition was to bring to the fore the beauty of Kogi State, being the Confluence State and the place where Lord Lugard settled during the colonial times in Nigeria (Lord Fredrick Luggard's wife was the one who gave Nigeria it's name, naming it after River Niger). The exhibition drew notable personalities including the State Governor and Prof Dora Akunyili (Nigeria's international award winning head of the food and drug agency). Being able to show such dexterity earned me the following awards in 2007:

. The most Outstanding Corps Member
. Kogi State NYSC Merit Award
. Presidential NYSC Honours Award

I've participated in several group exhibitions in Nigeria and I'm a member of ARTZERO group of artists in Nigeria.

I love life and I love living. I believe that time waits for no man and thus I delight in setting short term goals for myself because at the end of the day they'll all add up to the achievement of my long term goals........................w hich is to leave anybody that comes in contact with me or my works better and motivated

Welcome to my channel. I Hope you'll leave inspired!
