As a folklorist, I am working in the field of folklore of Rajasthan since 1967. Mainly interested in authentic folkmusic, culture and oral traditions of Rajasthan. Documented hundreds hours of folk songs, stories, ballads and epics from different parts of Rajasthan with eminent folklorist late Padmabhushan Shri Komal Kothari. Field assistancy work provided to eminent scholars and Ethnomusicologists on different aspects of folklore in Rajasthan. Travelled with folk performeing groups to more than 16 countries to participate in different festivals & cultural shows. Presently as a Producer in EMMRC, Jodhpur, I am producing Educational vedio programs for UGC/CEC countrywide classroom.
