MAF is a 501C3 not for profit organization which provides education, casting calls, screenings of regionally made films, screenwriters group, fiscal sponsoship, and more. MAF meetings are the 1st Tuesday of each month at WNIT TV studios at 300 West Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend, Indiana 46601 at 7:00 pm.
MAF Mission Statement

Mid America Filmmakers brings the art of film to mid America (Indiana and bordering states) by expanding awareness of and interest in the social and cultural impact of independent filmmaking. This is achieved by providing educational, creative and financial assistance to residents of mid America who recognize noncommercial film as an important art form through which ideas are expressed, and by awarding grants and providing fiscal sponsorship for film projects that would not otherwise be possible.
