Every year, Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) provides emergency medical care to millions of people caught in crises in nearly 60 countries around the world. MSF provides assistance when catastrophic events — such as conflict, epidemics, malnutrition, or natural disasters — temporarily overwhelm local health structures.

On any one day, close to 27,000 doctors, nurses, logisticians, water-and-sanitation experts, administrators, and other qualified professionals can be found providing medical care in international teams made up of local MSF aid workers and their colleagues from around the world.

thank you than for sending this blog post. I just returned from a mission with MSF in DRC and I´m very happy to find the movie of the region where I worked here.. and more happy that this hidden war is now and than shown somewhere. Martine

Thank you for everything you do MSF! I'd like to think it was my blog post that motivated the organization to create a new channel! :)
