Luckily, I was ahead of my time back in 1985 when I began video taping these old Sesame Street skits. Back then, I was 17 and wanted to capture memories I had 12 years earlier (1973) when I was 5 and watching Sesame Street when I got home from kindergarten. I did this for 3 years. Keep in mind, I didn't know at the time that S.S. would quit airing all these classics the following year after I quit recording. If I had known, I would have collected a lot more than I did.

Nonsensical, rude, and/or stupid comments will be deleted. Comments with swearing will be deleted and the user blocked. Spamming porn sites and/or leaving obscene comments will not be tolerated at all. Not only will it be deleted immediately and the user blocked but I will do everything in my power to get the user suspended from Youtube! I've learned how to do it and I've done it many times!

Imagine the low life scum bags that would swear or post porn sites on SESAME STREET videos, where MANY kids watch!
Name: Mike
Age: 40
I'm an easy going conservative guy who is just trying to earn a living.
Country: United States
Occupation: Sales
Interests and Hobbies: Playing baseball and watching baseball (especially the Boston Red Sox) and watching movies. Also posting segments on Youtube.
Movies and Shows: Jaws, A Few Good Men and many action movies are my favorites. The Incredible Hulk and All in the Family are my all time favorite TV shows. Curb your Enthusiasm and the Office are my favorite shows now. Of course, Sesame Street (old school), The Electric Company, The Night Stalker, The Six Million Dollar Man and Land of the Giants are my favorite nostalgic shows from the past. Gilligan's Island and the Brady Bunch are my two most watched shows when I was growing up. They both just had that certain chemistry to them that make them VERY nostalgic. Also, when I was a little kid in the mid to late 70's, my favorite Saturday shows were Land of the Lost, Bugs Bunny hour and SHAZAM. Other shows I find very funny are The Simpsons, King of the Hill and Faulty Towers. I also got VERY into 'The Three Stooges' when I was about 16.
Music: Soft rock from the 60's, 70's and early 80's. The Beatles, The Who and The Monkees are my top three favorite groups in that order.

This is NOT "Do the Hustle"! Not the 70's song that came out when I was a kid!

I was also a little kid! I was about 8 or 9 at the time! A very unique song at the time!
You're absolutely right! MANY of those things are fairy tales and shouldn't be believed in literally! I also reject the whole "Adam & Eve" story and don't believe it literally happened that way. Many were fictional stories to try to explain God and why things were the way they were. However, since none of us were around back then, we can't say for sure that it's ALL fantasy. For example, writing of things that Jesus said or did may be true. No way to know for sure that it's not true!
Of course I wasn't around...but I don't claim to "know" for sure one way or the other if it's all fantasy or not. Since Pat was NOT around either, he must have blind faith to claim to "know" for sure that it's ALL fantasy!
How are you so positive that all scripture is fantasy? I agree that much of the old testament is fantasy but since you weren't around 2000 years ago, you can't say for sure that it's ALL fantasy!

Thanks for all the great Sesame Street! I'm your age, and still watch Sesame Street! I didn't turn out conservative though, Sesame Street helped me move ideologically away from my conservative parents to be liberal, nonsensical and rude! So, hurray for adult versions of our beloved classics, Avenue Q and the like! I didn't swear, and I wasn't even nonsensical - dare you delete me?

Hi. Thanks for keeping the memories alive. Do you have the live action cowdog segment? To refresh your memory, the song in the sketch (I'm pretty sure it's Joe Raposo singing) goes, "I'm a dog, I'm a working dog, I'm a hard working dog."

Hi! Great clips! Do you have the cartoon clip of the dog-looking guy trying to get his pink elephant balloon through the door? It's from 1987.
