*STORY IN DESCRIPTION*
*Lauren's POV*
"Lauren what is wrong with you, stop fidgeting!"
"I can't help it Jess...I'm just really nervous about meeting them. What if they don't like me or something? What if they just completely ignore me and forget I'm even here?"
"Ren seriously, you need to stop worrying. They know you're here and they can't wait to meet you! You'll see I promise."
We were standing by the door next to the stage waiting for Big Rob to let them in. Once the door opened Jess immediately pounced onto Big Rob, squeezing the life out of him. He told us we were free to walk around and help ourselves to the food on the table. The boys were going to be there any minute.
"Kevin what are you talking about? You did amazing tonight! Everyone loved you and you know it!"
"Joe...that was the scariest thing I have ever done in my entire life! I'm not supposed to take the lead, that is yours and—oh, hey guys!"
Oh my God. They're here. In front of me. And Kevin's smiling at me! I start to get butterflies in my stomach. I don't know what to do. I just want to run away in the other direction and hide, and then all of a sudden I hear Jess saying my name.
"Oh and this is my best friend Lauren. Don't mind her shyness, she really is a talkative person once you get to know her."
Kevin and Joe are now staring at me. Joe's talking...I probably should be listening.
"Well hey Lauren. I'm Joe."
"And I'm Kevin."
"Hi," I say shyly. "It's really nice to meet you guys."
"Likewise," Kevin said. "Jess has told us so much about you that we couldn't wait to meet you!"
"Thanks," I said. "Same here."
Jess is standing on her tippy toes doing God only knows what. Me and Joe were getting a good laugh out of it though.
"Hey, where's Nick?" Jess asked, obviously confused.
"Oh, he'll be here in a few. Mom just needed to talk to him for a minute."
As Joe finished saying this, he shot a breathtaking smile over in Jess' direction, immediately sweeping her away and out of the room and leaving me and Kevin standing around awkwardly, staring at the door. Literally three seconds after Joe and Jess left, I see a ball of curly hair walk away from the side of the stage and coming towards me and Kev. My stomach's knotting up in excitement even more than before. He ran his hands through is poofy, curly hair. God, my heart's pounding. Why is it that Nick just walking over here is making me twice as nervous as I was to meet Kevin and Joe?
"Hey Nick," Kevin said in a warming (and somewhat relieved) voice. "This is Lauren and Lauren, this is my brother Nick."
"Hey," I stuttered with my hand out waiting to shake his. He slowly grabbed my hand and began to shake it.
"Hi," he said looking me in the eyes. They were absolutely amazing. They were like a dark hazelnut color. I mean, they were beautiful. I can feel myself getting lost in them. Kevin interrupts my moment with,
"So guyssss.......we should probably go look for Joe and Jess. God only knows where they went off to." I immediately drop Nick's hand and turn to look at Kevin.
*Nicks POV*
"This is Lauren and Lauren, this is my brother Nick."
I was seriously in a daze and didn't pay attention to anything Kevin just said. I was so wrapped up in this girl's eyes. She's wearing dark blue skinny jeans with a white see through lacy top and a white tank top underneath. She had the most beautiful smile and her eyes...boy, her eyes. They were such a wonderful shade of dark brown. Her hair was up in a side pony tail with side bangs. She looked absolutely stunning.
"Hey," she said to me with her hand out. I took is slowly starting to shake it.
"Hi." Wow Nick, way to go....you can't even get out a 'hey how are you' type thing. I am so stupid. Ughhhh.
"So guyssss.......we should probably go look for Joe and Jess. God only knows where they went off to." Kevin said with a concerned voice.
Right after he said this, the girl...wow, I already forgot her name. I'm an idiot. She let go of my hand and started looking at Kevin, looking a little nervous. I turn to this girl, wondering if she would come with us. I start talking hesitantly.
"Ummmm...."
"Lauren...my name's Lauren."
"Ok, Lauren, do you want to come with us?"
"Yeah, I think that girl is my ride home tonight."
Kevin's saying something to her, but I'm not sure what...I'm not listening to him anymore. I just started staring at Lauren again, but she's moving off with him out the door and to the right. Now he's pushing me off to the left...I think I'm supposed to try and find Joe and Jess. Kevin and Lauren end up finding Joe and Jess in his dressing room...I don't even want to know what they were doing in there. It was already 11:30, time for all of us to be heading back to our hotel. We all decided to meet up for breakfast tomorrow morning and go do something fun afterward...at least I think that's what we decided. I'm not sure, I'm still in a daze from Lauren.

*STORY IN DESCRIPTION*
Kevin got his guitar back and walked up to the mike, clearly nervous.
"Um, ok, there's gonna be a change in plans for tonight," he said quickly.
The whole crowd started cheering, and he broke out in a smile.
"I'm gonna sing for you guys, so enjoy, I guess."
He stepped back and Nick started with the opening notes for SOS. Throughout the song, Kevin always took Joe's part singing, and Joe stuck to the back-up lyrics. Everyone loved the performance and had their cameras out, recording the whole thing. Lauren and Jess stayed quiet, clapping and watching Kevin's face glow with excitement from the whole experience. After SOS finished, the crowd exploded with screams and applause. Joe stepped up to the center mike.
"Now, make sure you put that on Youtube when you get home," he joked.
Kevin walked over to him and hit him upside the head.
"What? It was good," he pouted as everyone laughed. Nick, rolling his eyes, took over.
"Anyways, this next song is called Hello Beautiful, and we want to dedicate it to all the lovely ladies who made it tonight, and supported Kevin."
"And to the little girl in the front row with the awesome puppy dog face," Kevin added in, amid more laughter.
The little girl's head immediately shot up, and she started jumping up and down, trying to see over the barrier. Lauren stooped down and caught her, placing her on her shoulders.
"Here you go sweetie. Best seat in the house," she said.
"Thank oo," the little girl shouted back; the music started again.
Kevin was mouthing the words along to Joe and Nick singing. He glanced over to his side of the stage and saw the five year old piggybacking on Lauren. He chuckled and got up, walking over to Nick and pointing her out. The two of them made eye contact for a second, during Joe's "big pause." The pause was stretching out into a huge affair; Joe had found Jess in the crowd and became determined to show off. Nick, finally fed up with Joe, cut off the pause just as he was going to go into another scale. Still staring at Lauren, he sang, "Those eyes," and ended the song.
Lauren smiled shyly but quickly got distracted by the little girl bouncing up and down on her shoulders, clapping so much she was about to fall off.

He turned his head towards her voice and saw Lauren next to Jess. His face lit up when he saw his old friend jumping up and down, next to the girl who was rooting for him so loudly. He looked at Lauren again, and she nodded enthusiastically, yelling,
"Sing!"
"What was that?" he said into the mike, just to make sure he wasn't hearing things.
"Um, Kev, I think they want you to sing for them," Nick said in an entertained voice.
Kevin looked from his brother to the crowd as a gigantic scream echoed around the stadium. He found the long-haired brunette again and surprisingly, she had been joined by a little girl who looked about 5. The brunette looked up when Jess nudged her and saw Kevin half-smiling. She whispered something into the little kid's ear. The little girl nodded and her dad hoisted her up into the air; both her and the older girl instantly gave him identical puppy faces while Jess was cracking up on the side. He could feel his initial shellshock dissolving with these looks.
"Uhh, well, I, I don't know about singing," he stuttered, but stopped as he could see the five-year old's face dropping.
"Umm, uh, band meeting! We'll be right back."
He handed off his guitar quickly and grabbed his brothers by the arms, hustling them over into the corner.
"Guys, I could use some help here!" He whispered frantically. Nick shifted and rubbed the back of his neck.
"I think it's a good idea," he said quietly.
"WHAT?"
"Well, you never sing. Come on, just once? It's obvious those people out there want to hear you, you've warmed up, and it would make that little girl's day."
"Yeah," Joe added. "Besides, what's the harm? It's just one song anyways."
"I haven't practiced for anything," Kevin replied, desperation evident in his voice.
"SOS," Nick mumbled.
"What?" Joe and Kevin said at the same time.
"Kevin, you sang Joe's part during the sound check. Why don't you just take over that for one time, and then we'll go back to normal for the encore."
Joe slowly nodded. Kevin looked between the two of them, and back at the crowd, who were being entertained by Garbo banging on a trash can. He could see Jess leaning over the barrier, staring intently over in their direction. He made eye-contact with her, and she smirked at him, nodding once and mouthing, 'Say hi for me.'
"Ok, I'll do it," Kevin said suddenly, adding on as an after thought, "oh, by the way, Jess says hi."
He walked back out to the center of the stage, with both of his brothers following him star-struck and looking over towards where Jess was standing.

*STORY IN DESCRIPTION*
*8:03 PM*
Lauren nervously checked her watch for the thousandth time, ignoring Jess's complaint of "Stop doing that! What, are you counting down the minutes until the concert's over or something?"
"No," Lauren snapped back. "I'm counting down the minutes until our plan can go into action. And every minute that the Jonas Brothers are late sets it back."
"Well, they're ALLOWED to be late, you know. It's not like the concert can start without them."
"Yeah, but—" Lauren never got to finish her thought; she was drowned out by deafening screams all around her. Jess shouted in her ear,
"I think they're here."
"No, really? I didn't notice," Lauren yelled back as the guys came running out onto the stage, beaming and jumping with adrenaline.
Joe was in a black tux with a skinny silver tie, Nick in an adorable blue tux and a bow tie, and Kevin looking classy in a vest, white dress shirt with an ascot underneath, and dress pants to match. As the guys got their instruments out and the band got settled, Jess turned and faced her friend, who looked like she was holding her breath.
"You ready for this?" she asked nervously. Lauren looked from the stage back to Jess.
"It's a little too late to back out anyways, so, sure, why not?" she said, smiling widely.
For the girls, the next hour or so was complete bliss. They were rocking out to every song, singing along, and having the best time of their lives. Lauren was still anxious about their master plan, but this feeling floated away when Kevin stepped up to the mike during the end of the song "That's Just the Way We Roll." Before he had time to start talking, all the girls in the stadium started screaming their lungs out. Jess turned around and waved to the ones behind her, mouthing, 'Now, start now!' She turned around and started clapping, but it wasn't frenzied like it had been seconds before. Now it was measured, steadied, like a slow clap that was slowly building up. She started screaming, "We want Kevin! We want Kevin!" at the top of her lungs. Lauren joined her; soon the whole stadium was chanting with her. Kevin had an indescribable look on his face...it looked like a mixture of astonishment and confusion.
"Um, hey guys..." he said, unsure of what they meant. A random fan yelled,
"You rock Kevin!"
He looked over to his brothers to find Joe laughing into his hand and Nick turned around to face the band, chuckling as he unscrewed the cap off his water bottle.
"Thanks, I think."
That was all he could get out; the crowd started chanting again. One voice in particular stood out from the crowd. She was screaming loudly,
"Sing for us Kev!"

*Lauren's POV*
"Wow," I said softly; in all my life, I had never seen such...well, emptiness in a city. There was no one, and I mean no one, outside. Now for a city girl like me, that is just unnerving. Weird. Almost like I've been transported into a totally different world. Jess interrupted my thoughts with,
"Hello, anybody up there?"
To prove her point (or just to annoy me, I'm never really sure which), she tugged on my ponytail. After swatting her hand away, I turned around again, trying to adjust to my new surroundings. Sighing, I looked over my shoulder at Jess. She was smirking back at me; I swear that girl just loves to take me out of my comfort zone. I said nothing, I've learned that the easiest way to get her to stop is to ignore her, and started walking towards the limo parked at the end of the road...hey, wait a minute...LIMO?!?
"What the heck is there a limo here for?" I yelled back over my shoulder to Jess; I could tell she was running to catch up to me, and I let her.
"Well, I thought you would like it..." she said, her voice trailing off as she started fidgeting with one of her many rings.
"Well, I don't," I said defiantly. "I love it, thank you soo much!" I continued, giving her a quick sideways hug. She rolled her eyes and shouted right in my ear (yeah, that hurt),
"Race you to car!"
She took off running, dropping her carry-on bag along the way. Laughing, I chased after her, scooping up her abandoned bag in the process and still managing to beat her to the limo. As we collapsed in the wrap-around seat giggling, I casually glanced at my watch. It read 2:38 PM...the concert starts at 8...five hours, 22 minutes to go. Oh joy.
*Jess's POV*
"Oh, not again! Ren, seriously, I'm gonna take that watch away from you if you look at it one more time!"
I love her to death, I really do, but if she looks at her wristwatch to check the time again, I'm gonna throw it out the window! She blushed, aww how cute, and slipped the face of it underneath her wrist.
"Happy?"
"I'm seeing the Jonas Brothers live, with front row seats, in two hours...hell yeah I'm happy!"
I said, jumping up. We were both sitting in this GIGANTIC bathroom in my parents' townhouse, getting ready for the concert. And I am determined she is going to enjoy tonight. ALL of tonight.
"Ugh, I hate my hair!" she murmured angrily.
"Chill Lauren, your hair is fine. You should be more worried about your outfit."
"What's wrong with it?" I walked over to what she had laid out on the bed...it was bad.
"A t-shirt and skinny jeans? Sorry girl, but that doesn't cut it in the world of the Jonas Brothers."
"Oh, so they have their own world now?"
"Yes, and while we're in it, I choose what you wear, mm-k?"
"But—" I gave her one of my famous glares. "Fine, but only for the concert." Haha, yes!! This will be fun.

*STORY IN DESCRIPTION*
Jessica Morris sighed and sat back in her seat, frustrated with her best friend. No matter how hard she tried, she just couldn't get Lauren excited about this! She had gotten the private jet, the front row seats, the backstage passes, basically everything a fan would want or need or die for already. And, on top of all this, it was to see the Jonas Brothers...LIVE, IN CONCERT!! How anybody could be less enthusiastic was beyond her.
'Well, then again, it IS Ren,' Jess thought to herself.
Glancing over to look at her friend, Jess shook her head. Her best friend was only feet away, staring out the window at the clouds below them, and yet, she seemed so distanced. At 5'5 ½" Lauren Manning wasn't the tallest girl around, but her personality more than made up for it. She tended to suppress her emotions well, especially around strangers, but Jess knew that once she got to know someone, she was the most faithful, sweetest friend a person could have. Lauren had one weakness: anything new scared the hell out her. Which was why she was currently ignoring Jess and staring out the plane window, watching the landscape thousands of feet below her change from the desert typically found in the middle of Arizona to the cityscape of Phoenix.
Lauren stirred from the position she had been sitting in for the past hour and shifted to look at Jess, who was staring back at her.
"What?" Lauren said, sounding affronted. Jess rolled her eyes and said playfully,
"Nothing. Come on, let's go make fools of ourselves in front of three of the hottest guys in the music biz."
"I thought they were your friends?"
"...What's your point?"
Lauren reluctantly laughed as the plane lowered itself onto the runway.
"Well, isn't it a little awkward to think of them as hot?"
"Pshh, uh, NO! Besides, it's not like they remember me. I haven't seen them since...forever."
"I doubt they've forgotten you. I don't think anyone could forget you; that means they'd have to get past all the mental scarring you cause," Lauren with an angelic look on her face.
She stood up and brushed past Jess, whose mouth had dropped open.
"Hey, where are you going?" Jess said.
"Um, well, let's see...the plane stopped, so you're supposed to get off and take your luggage with you," Lauren replied, speaking slowly and gesturing with her hands to make a point.
Jess, instead of continuing the mock-a-thon, settled for sticking out her tongue and leading the way off the plane.
As soon as the two friends stepped out onto the tarmac, they were blasted by a wall of dry heat. Jess took the change of atmosphere in stride, fluffing her short blonde hair so it fell more naturally. Lauren stopped at the intense heat and tried copying her friend; unfortunately, her longer and more layered brunette hair proved to retain more heat than she expected. After running her fingers though the length of it, Lauren unwillingly gathered up the bulk of it and twisted it into a high messy ponytail. She took this opportunity to orient herself within the city.

Make sure to read part one!
Downstairs, Kevin and Nick had been persuaded by their girlfriends to try and listen in on Joe and Steffi's conversation. They snuck over and stood outside Joe's door, trying to hear what was being said. After five minutes of barely being able to hear Steffi talk, Allie, Lucy, Kevin and Nick had their ears pressed to the door. They all jolted back when Joe suddenly yelled,
"NO! I'm not going to let you—"
He was silenced by Steffi murmuring something. Joe started shouting again.
"How can you say that? No, I wouldn't do that! I'm not—"
Those outside the door heard him take a deep breath, and then they couldn't hear him talking any more.
Nick finally chickened out and dragged the other three back into the living room. They sat down, Kevin and Lucy on the sofa and Nick and Allie on the love seat. Nick and Allie had nervously changed the subject, but Kevin and Lucy were talking about what was happening behind the closed door.
"I don't get it, she seemed fine this morning." Lucy said, looking confused.
"Today was her last day here, right?" Kevin said.
"Yeah. I thought she would have wanted to leave on a good note, but...maybe not."
"Do you think this might have something to do with Sam?"
"I—" Lucy stopped suddenly as she heard a door slam and somebody running down the stairs. Seconds later, Steffi came into view, wiping her eyes. She walked over to Lucy.
"Can I borrow your car?" she asked faintly. Lucy nodded, shocked at her friend's condition, and handed over her keys.
"We'll be home soon," she said as the sound of a door banging against the wall and somebody running down the stairs echoed around the house.
Steffi turned her head at the sound, grabbed the keys and bolted out the door. Joe emerged seconds later and ran to the front door. He yanked it open in time to see Lucy's car rounding the corner at the end of the street.
"Joe..." Nick began.
Joe waved distractedly at him and went back to his room, slamming the door again. He didn't come out again that night.
Kevin gave Lucy and Allie a lift back to their place. They got a couple hours of sleep, then woke up again at 5:00 the next morning in order to see Steffi off on her flight. Steffi, like Joe, was completely silent except for whispering 'bye' at the security gate.
She turned around and waved at her friends, then boarded her flight back to Georgia.

*STORY IN DESCRIPTION*
Steffi's three weeks on the West Coast had come and gone, and she had gotten closer to Joe than she had ever imagined possible. They had gone out on a couple more dates, but Joe hadn't gotten up the nerve to ask her to be his girlfriend. It was her last night in California, and she was spending it with Allie, Lucy, Nick, Joe and Kevin. Lucy was driving her sister and Steffi over to the Jonas' house late that night (around 10:30...it was an impromptu get-together after spending the whole day hanging out at the beach).
"God, I can't believe you're leaving tomorrow! Three weeks went by so fast. We're going to miss you, you know that?"
"Oh, whatever, I expect the two of you will spend too much time thinking about Nick and Kevin you won't have time to miss me!" Steffi joked.
"Yeah right, like that would ever happen," Allie scoffed. "Guys can come and go, but you keep a best friend forever."
"So you want them to go?" Steffi asked.
"I didn't say that!"
All three girls laughed as Lucy pulled up in the driveway. Allie led a stampede towards the door, closely followed by Lucy. Steffi walked normally, thinking about what she had to do that night. Kevin opened the door and was pushed aside by Allie, who immediately ran to Nick yelling, "Nicky!" Lucy walked up to Kevin and hugged him, whispering,
"Sorry about her, I tried to stop her from drinking that last Red Bull, but she just didn't listen."
Kevin laughed and kissed Lucy. Steffi was the last to appear in the doorway and looked around the room, trying to find Joe. Not seeing him in the room, she turned to Kevin and asked,
"Um, where's Joe?" Kevin pulled out of his kiss with a pained expression and answered,
"He's taking a shower, he should be out in a second. You wanna wait for him here?"
"No, I think I'll surprise him. You know, give you two couples some alone time."
She started walking up to Joe's room; once she was out of their range, she said under her breath,
"And some gagging time for me."
She walked into Joe's room and sat down on his bed, putting her head in her hands. After about ten minutes, she leaned backwards and laid down on Joe's bed, listening to a guy's voice coming closer. It was saying,
"Yeah right, I'm not gonna fall for that! Girl in my room, please..."
The door opened and Joe looked up, seeing Steffi flat out on his bed.
"Oh, you really are up here? I thought Kevin was kidding."
Steffi covered her head with a pillow before answering.
"Nope, he never kids, haven't you noticed?" Joe laughed.
"What are you doing? I do have clothes on."
Steffi removed the pillow, throwing it at Joe.
"Well, I wasn't sure, so I was covering the bases. Technically, you only have your boxers on, and what I need to say requires you to be...fully clothed. Get dressed!"
"Bossy pants!" He shot across the room while walking over to his closet and picking out an outfit. Steffi stuck out her tongue and retorted,
"No pants!"
She watched him get dressed [AN: i know that sounds creepy, but just go with it]. After he was done dressing, he sat down next to Steffi, who to his surprise stood up and closed his door. She wouldn't meet his eyes and kept twirling her ring around her finger like she always did when she was nervous.
'Uh-oh' he thought. 'This can't be good.'
ok, i didnt want to split this up, but youtubes being stupid, so go to part two to find out what happens next!
