IN the 7th century we have firs "state" called Karantania under Sam's rulership.

I think this is the only anthem with that message used as national anthem for some country. The poem was created by our greatest poetist France Prešeren in 19th century. In those times our indentity our patriotism was under development. In those times there were a wish that all Slovenian land under Austrian-Hungarian monarchy joined under one unit in that monarhy called Slovenia. WE were waiting for our own country for 14 centuries.
