There were 500 chemical weapons found in Iraq. But nobody remembers that. The group think liberal talking points is that they were old. I'm sure that you are not aware that one month prior to the war, in February 2003, the UN destroyed 14 shells containing mustard gas. According to the official United Nations report, samples taken from these shells showed the mustard gas produced over 15 years earlier was not degraded and "still of high quality."

But that doesn't matter as much as the fact that they still had 500 chemical weapons. The point is that a decade after the gulf war, after weapons inspectors had been searching all over the country, there were still weapons to be found. And, of course, they were all supposed to have been destoyed according to the cease fire agreement and UN resolutions.
