I've noticed that Japanese superheroes have remained cool through the years even without new productions. The only crappy Devilman adaption is the live-action one. In America, superheroes and graphic novels are progressively getting worse. Heroes misportrays Japanese culture and Supernatural just plain sucks. I think the lack of creativity is what is leading up to the Smurfs movie and live-action Dragonball Z; Piccolo is gonna look like the fucking Mask in that movie!
