Aiming to provide video coverage and public service videos for the areas of Plymouth, Bowen, and Augusta, IL and immediately surrounding communities, including the local school system. For us, the Tri-village area comes first and foremost. Check the clickable URL below for more information about us, which includes examples of print media work completed, along with longer sports online broadcasts. Also, please support our affiliate sponsors, so we can devote even more time to the important information work for the communities we serve. It is our only income from our video work. Thank you.
I've been a still photographer for many years, more years than I'd care to count. I started working with videos in February, 2008, about the same time as I joined YouTube. I've recognized a gradual evolution in my development as a videographer, which took a significant jump when I purchased a digital video camera specifically dedicated to producing videos for online audiences in July. I've been accused of having too much fun doing this. LOL! And if brought before a jury, I'd probably be convicted.
I do hope that people end up enjoying the short films I produce, hopefully to both entertain and inform my viewers. My site content is admittedly regional in its focus, but I've seen enough feedback already to know that anyone interested in things about western Illinois has enjoyed my work.
City: Plymouth, IL
Hometown: Tapiola, Michigan
Country: United States
Occupation: Writer/Free-Lance Photographer
Interests and Hobbies: Aside from an active writing career, I consider myself to be a total internet junkie. If it has something to do with being online, I've probably given it a try in the past nearly seven years that I've been part of the online system. Most recently, I've also been developing an online shopping service, found at http://trivillageonlinemall.webs.com .
Movies and Shows: I can't really say that I like any of the newer programs on television these days. I don't need Sominex, if a television is on. It puts me to sleep.
Only two movies that I can recall enjoying were STATE FAIR, starring Pat Boone, and the old musical, OKLAHOMA. Those are both oldies, but then, I'm no spring chicken myself.
Music: Country Music, Classic Rock and Roll
Books: I'm most inclined toward medical novels, when I do have time to read. My two all-time favorite novels would have to be COMA by Robin Cook and Arthur Hailey's FINAL DIAGNOSIS .
