Denmark discovered American continent 2 times before Columbus. First in the viking age then again 20 years before Columbus. Under the Danish-Norwegian common fleet around 1472 an expedition was done in cooperation with the Portugese. It departed from Norway which was part ot the Danish kingdom at this time, and had both Danish, Norwegians and Portugese on board! Anyway Normandie in France is nice. Some Danish blood is flowing in Normandie and Britain all the way back from Viking age! :-D

All right, I'll change it.
Mais prend pas tout au serieux, je supporte votre independance, les bretons sont moins entendus que les ecossais car le gouvernement est centraliste tandis que les ecossais ont un parlement. |

to your last reply:
What i'm saying is a european point of view, Christopher Colombus is meant to have discovered the Americas for europe, but the vikings proved that wrong. |

I don't contest that the Vikings were great navigators fleeing their hostil country ,they arrived in america surely per error, but they didn't discover America.not colombus too..Amerindien( Mongolian origin) are the first ,The arrival of these people back in America, approximately 12 000 years but Recent archaeological discoveries would back the first migrations to more than 40 000 years. Coming from Siberia, they have crossed the Bering Strait, then frozen, then populated the Americas.
