Addicted to house and rare groove - located in Zurich Switzerland, Born 1967. I had the unique chance to particpate the birth of House Music. Non other style has influenced todays main-stream as House did. Early House was a true underground movement. Either you liked it or you hated it. A privat Disco-Club called Flamingo in Zürich was one of the very first clubs world-wide that played exclusivly underground black american house and disco. The onwners of Flamingo copied the concept of NewYorks Paradise-Garage Club and we kept on celebrating these fantastic new sounds time and again in the early years of 1986/87. A special thanks goe's to the Flamingo resident DJ Roger. He kept us rocking all night long. In case you've been part of this area you going to find a lot of Flamingo-Classics played by Roger. A lot of great stuff has already been posted on youtube by others. Therefore check my favorite list for other great 'flamingo' chicago house classics. The best classic house tracks have been produced in the years 86/87. Until today, many of these records have been re-sampled in new house productions time and again.
