Student and entertainer, I love to mess around (in a good way) with people and have a good time.
Name: Julio
Age: 24
student, young, I love to read, debate, think, write
City: City of God
Hometown: Riverside
Country: United States
Occupation: Security, Barista, Student, Writer
Schools: Riverside Community College

Interests and Hobbies: I'm a student at RCC (Riverside Community College) and I love to read; I'm a Goonie for life! I particularly love to read essays and essays by various authors. I really don't have much to do, since school requires most of my time. On occasion, I like to hang out and have a beer or two, when, of course, I have no homework: doing homework while I'm buzzing is not all that fun. I also love to read mangas. I particularly love Naruto, by Shonin Jump. I've also read the Love Hina mangas and seen the complete series on DVD. I really love movies. I'm a sucker for movies. I don't like the classic Hollywood type of movies. You know, the kind that conspicuously ends as every other movie ever printed by Hollywood: the guy wants the girl; the girl is dating some other hot shot; she dumps him; then lo and behold, she ends up with the first guy. It's too obvious for me. I need puzzling, plot-twisting movies. Where's the fun in obvious-ending ones? I think I'll let you decide what you think about me. They say you know a lot of a person if you see his collected works, be that books or movies. I'm just giving you a general go-around about who I am—hence "about me." Oh, I love coffee. Thank God for coffee.

Pascal: Truth is so obscured nowadays and lies so well established that unless we love the truth we shall never recognize it.
St. Augustine: Purity is a virtue of the mind.
John Stewart Mill: War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling, which thinks that nothing is worth war, is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.
Miscellaneous quotes: Anti-intellectualism is a disposition to discount the importance of truth and the life of the mind. Living in a sensuous culture and an increasingly emotional democracy, American evangelicals in the last generation have simultaneously toned up their bodies and dumbed down their minds. The result? Many suffer from a modern form of what the ancient stoics called 'mental hedonism'-having fit bodies but fat minds. -Os Guinness
Who I'd like to meet:
Anyone and everyone. If you live in Riverside, or Moreno Valley, I like to hang out and do study groups, or just have fun. I would like to meet Francis Schaeffer, but he's dead. I also would love to meet Greg L. Bahnsen, Cornelius Van Til, Dr. Gresham Mechan, Martin Luther, John Calvin, Joshua Harris, Jim Elliot. I would like to meet a girl I can hang out with and talk about whatever.
Movies and Shows: Gladiators, Alex And Emma, War Of The Worlds, Time Machine, The Passion Of The Christ, A Walk To Remember, The Notebook, Hamlet, The Love Hina Series, Scarface (my all time favorite)
Music: Coldplay, Relient K, MxPx, Angels and Airwaves, +44, Third Day, Green Day, Skillet, Slick Shoes, No Bragging Rights, The Format, The Fray, Thrice, Haste The Day, Sick Of Change, Dogwood, Mae, Kandace Ferrel, Dashboard Confessional, UnderOATH, As I Lay Dying, Ella Fitzgerald, Johnny Cash, Jeremy Camp, Nichole Nordman, Aphex Twin, Aqualung, Blink 182, Angels and Airwaves, Caedmon's Call, Chris Tomlin, The Cure, Depeche Mode, Dave Brubeck, David Crowder Band, Derek Webb, Dinah Washington, The Worship Circle Project, Five Iron Frenzy, Grandaddy, Green Day, Louis Armstrong, Madeleine Peyroux, Mat Kearney, Matt Redman, The New Found Glory, Oliander, Panima, Rascal Flatts, Ray Charles, Rebecca St. James, Rita Springer, Robert A.
