Hey, Sxip, if you don't mind me asking--have you had any compositional training? How did you learn to compose? I'd really like to get into that stuff myself, I took an easy intro to composition class last year (the only one they let non-music majors in) but that wasn't a whole lot of help, I can barely get myself out of the standard verse/chorus/verse/chorus/brid

Yeah, I guess I could stand a good suit, couldn't I... professionalism counts, it's true. The dirty punk-rocker aesthetic doesn't fly for working musicians, unless your market is 14 year olds... As soon as I graduate from college, I'll get one, I promise. ;) Or at least some nice Hawaiian shirts. Now THOSE are classy. ;)

Hey man, musician to musician--that stuff is just transcendent. Put some more up! Make a DVD, I'd buy it! Beats my crappy songs. The one I have posted is a bad take anyway, I'll try to put some more up soon... but I digress. You're in NYC right? If I'm ever there, I'll keep an eye out for you. Peace.
