Please be patient -- Our YouTube videos take longer than usual to start playing, because they are encoded at a higher resolution and bitrate than normal for YT videos. The video will play a few seconds at a time while it's loading. After it has finished loading, you can play the video back in real time. (In order for your browser to buffer the whole clip, you may need to right-click on the video window, choose Settings, then Local Storage, and increase the setting to Unlimited for 'how much information can YouTube store on my computer'.) Also, the reported time (length) of the clips is longer than the actual time of the clip. This clip is 1 minute long, but shows as 10:59 running time. This is a result of the high bitrate encoding and not something wrong with the video or YT service. We hope you'll agree that the great picture quality is a fair trade-off for having to wait!

Mar. 21 - Hundreds of Venezuelans took to the streets of Caracas on Sunday (March 19) to take part in yet another naked portrait en masse by U.S. photographer Spencer Tunick.
Snaking through Bolivar Avenue in the early morning hours, the same site used by Venezuela's President Hugo Chavez's massive rallies, hundreds of naked men and women followed Tunick's direction, sprawling out across the famed avenue.
''It was very interesting to see how people would sink, mix into one another, all of those people, nude and without any concern for appearance and those things that sometimes divide and separate us,'' participant, Pancho Qilis, said after the shoot.
The photographer says his artwork is about creating a piece of public sculpture that reaffirms the body and uses it to create an abstract photograph of the urban landscape.
''I picked this location because I felt that the buildings were like a whale in Antarctica that loses all of its skin and it's like bones, like you know what I mean, so I thought, I thought, I thought, the building was very iconic in that sense and then and then I like the V the highway forms with a big empty barren street,'' said Tunick after the shoot.
The United States, Argentina, Brazil, New Zealand and Chile are among some of the countries that Tunick has drawn thousands of people out of their clothes for the photographs that will be compiled in his forthcoming book.
