Hi everyone, I stated playing the organ when I was 7 years old. During that age, I was not interested in learning how to play the organ. In fact, I was FORCED into learning the art of Electone playing and I hated it. I was even losing ground by levels thus falling behind.

Everything started to change during the 1980's Disco Era. I began to accept the interest and enjoyment of playing organ music. My progress was like wildfire and I accelerated in my learning to play the organ. It was when I was told by my teacher to skip two levels up to a more advanced class, I was afraid initially, but was assured by her that it was alright. During my Electone Examinations, I felt nervous and felt the butterflies in my tummy. It was a terrible feeling, but I managed to pass it with a Distinction when the results got to my teacher's ear first, it was a BIG relief when I got that information. Anyway, that's over! From there, my Dad bought me my first Yamaha D-85. Later, the organ was given away as we moved, so I went to buy myself 2 Yamaha HS-8 when I was older.

I am not a very good at reading music notations and it is a weakness I cannot deny. Although, I can still read them, but I'm really slow at it... and I mean it, Sloooow! Almost half of the songs that I play have NO physical scores. That does not mean that I totally incapable of reading the score. It's just that, I give preference to playing songs from memory rather than thru scores.
