More than anyone else, it seems that the Portuguese have a tendency for ESC entries that talk of... well, Portugal, actually! And when the results are this strong, I'm truly happy for that. A beautiful song about longing for your country when being far away - and the feeling of deep connection for your co-patriots that you meet there - yet with a very optimistic feeling, and the traditional instruments seamlessly incorporated into the mix, this is actually my biggest favorite in a strong year.
